After Toshiba who announced its (upgraded version of Chromebook 2 13-inch) recently now it’s time for HP to bring their Chromebook lineup in highlight. HP has unveiled its HP Chromebook 11 and HP Chromebook 14 laptops at the IFA tech expo in Germany whereas both devices will be available under $300 price tag.
We already know the details of Chromebook 11 who will be featuring powerful Bay Trail-based Intel N2830, 2GB RAM and16GB SSD. It’s likely to be available from next month at $280.
Moreover, HP Chromebook 14 will be powered by powerful NVidia Tegra K1 processor but unlikely all other Chromebooks in market, it will have standard resolution (1366×768) in a wide 14.1-inch screen. It weighs 3.75lbs (light for its size) and its only 0.7-inches thick when closed while it’s also fan less so no noise at all.
HP has also said that it will be available in two body colors (Twinkle Black and Snow White) while you will have the options for colorful accents that include Smoke Silver, Ocean Turquoise, Neon Green or Sorbet Orange. The device is optimized for Google Hangouts and will have longer battery life of 9.25 hours and it will be priced at $299.99.
However, the touch screen model is expected to be released later this year.
HP has also offered ‘life time broadband’ (for the life of the product and capped at 250MB/m) on 4G model which will cost you $350.
