Upcoming availability of in-car 4G LTE in Audi has been announced during the CES show this year. A3 sedan is said to be the first automobile in the US to offer in-vehicle 4G data. Audi and AT&T have announced their data plans for customers’ which are as follows
5GB – for six months for $99
30GB / 30-month data plan for $499
Prices are surely high but as we are talking about 3G connectivity which will change your car in a mobile hotspot. A free six-month LTE trial period will be available for all A3 sedans equipped with the company’s “Audi connect” system.
Audi has announced that they have planned to expand 4G LTE capability across its entire lineup because they want to give their customers the best options to choose from.
We can expect that many other manufacturers will also launch these services in the near future.
