Apple has finally unwrapped two models of iPhone 6 – 4.7 inches, while the larger version Apple iPhone 6 Plus at 5.5 inches. At first you may think that the only difference between two models is their size but that’s not the case, the iPhone 6 Plus has a bigger battery, full HD display, one-handed mode and an extra stabilization feature on the camera as well.
Some people may think that iPhone 6 Plus is unreasonably bigger but think of it as another phablet, and there are many actually in the market (remember Galaxy Note range) but if you want to have pocketability factor intact then the 4.7-inch model is much better for you. It’s only 6.9mm in size which is actually thinner than the Apple iPhone 5s (7.6mm). But still it may not be the smallest phone however its stylish, sleek and feel right at home in my palms.

Apple iPhone 6 has a 1,334 x 750 resolution (326ppi), just to refresh your mind that it’s the same as the iPhone 5s except adjusted for a larger size, so there’s nothing revolutionary in iPhone 6 screen. So if you want something innovative than Apple iPhone 6 Plus is offering the best deal as its packed with 5-inch panel, comes with a 1,920 x 1,080 resolution for 401 ppi density. So if you are not a geek then this difference can be the deciding factor as which iPhone 6 you want to buy.
When it comes to control positioning then iPhone 6 has added some changes, power button has been moved from the top side to the right which I believe is unessential because old location was good enough whereas on Apple iPhone 6 Plus it can be a little more helpful because of its bigger size. So top side is bare and smooth while volume rocker and mute switch are on the left side, the 3.5mm headphone jack, Lightning connector port and mic/speaker setup are on the bottom.
The aluminum back’s layout is same as earlier models with the same color back, however the camera and True Tone flash are on the top-left corner; camera is protruded from the chassis which was necessary if we consider Apple iPhone 6’s thinness. Apple has excluded the sharp design of the 5 and 5s and rather chose roundness so there is no edges. Its replaced by 2.5D glass (which Apple refers to as “ion-strengthened”) that slightly bends down to meet with the bubble-curved edges.
Apple iPhone 6 ‘s one of the biggest and most anticipated feature is NFC (near-field communication) which will allow users to take advantage of Apple’s wireless mobile payment system ‘Apple Pay’. If your payment terminal support NFC then you are good to use any Visa, American Express or MasterCard account to make payments. Don’t get terrified of any security breach as Apple has assured that they does not store any payment history or credit card credentials, they will just allow a transaction.
Apple iPhone 6 (as well as iPhone 6 Plus) has an 8MP camera and a larger aperture lens (f/2.2)– don’t get disappointed by resolution as Apple has added some enhancements under the hood. It has Focus Pixel feature, which is Apple’s take on phase-detection autofocus which will allow iPhone camera to lock focus and snap shots faster than before. It’s able to shoot video up to 60fps for 1080p video and 240fps for slow-motion, as well as continuous autofocus) whereas optical image stabilization is only exclusive for the iPhone 6 Plus.
