We were hearing the rumors of Amazon’ first Smartphone from quite some time but the phone is no longer a rumor and became a reality, being launched today in Seattle. It’s up for pre-orders and will be available in US starting from 25th July on AT&T exclusively with a decent price tag of $199.99 and two-year contract.
Amazon’s first Smartphone will be sporting some cool new features, such as “Firefly” which will allow you to scan real world objects like books or other products and order them directly from Amazon. You can scan music, movies; TV shows etc. and get more info on it from Wikipedia. It also has a much talked about feature called ‘head tracking’ while Amazon is calling it Dynamic Perspective, which controls the screen and change what’s showing on screen according to your head movements and phone’s viewing angles as how you are holding the phone.
Amazon’s Fire Phone – comes with 4.7-inch HD screen, SnapDragon 800 quad-core processor, Adreno 300 graphics and 2 GB RAM. Internal storage will vary from 16GB or 32GB. Fire Phone is actually has quite a lot in common with Fire tablets as both runs heavily modified version of Google’s Android.
It looks like a powerful and a budget friendly device that have all the abilities to give its competitors a really tough time.
